With the launch of firmware 2.11.2, you can now download the latest GPS data from Marlin app to your Marlin every day before go open water swimming. This can speed up the GPS sync time for open water swimming.
Pair your Marlin with Marlin app before you go for open water swimming, click ‘Yes’ to download the latest GPS data when “Marlin GPS data outdated” message prompt out in the home page.
As the latest GPS data will be updated 2 times every day (after 1am and 6am GMT), this message will be displayed if you not yet have that latest GPS data updated successfully. If you don't want to do the GPS data update every day, you can change the default setting to 'No' under "My Settings ->Marlin App Settings -> Check for GPS data update when connecting Marlin".
